| Well, you know what they say. People who do math are weird, and
people who run are crazy. Guess that makes me weird AND crazy. But, you can't expect much
else from someone who can't remember his own name. 'Sides, half the time I'm a
millennia old Sidhe knight of Caer Ciaran, Airgiod Wyr. The rest of the time, I
madly edit reviews and occasionally remember to contribute some of my own. On a more serious note, I'm a Math / Asian Studies major working on a math PhD who likes to dabble in folklore, mythology, and fantasy theory on the side. I'm generally more attracted to anime that touches on mahou, especially that related to Buddhism or Daoism, though I don't have a real aversion to either shoujo or mecha anime. I originally signed on in the movies section, but then made the mistake of writing too many reviews when my bandwidth got reduced. I can't write news stories that are as cool as Legion's were for the reviews updates, but hopefully the final quality of the reviews, and the fact that they get posted somewhat regularly, makes up for it... |
