The Wild Arms Twilight Venom series is an anime with themes similar to the two games it came from (Wild ARMs 1 and 2)... While the direct storylines are not the same, they share plenty of things. They do not share much music, however. A total of five tracks are remade from the games and put into this anime (hence the credit to Michiko Naruke for those five tracks). However, the rest of the music does share a very "Western" feeling.
Yes, the music itself is outstanding, one of my favorite anime OSTs. With plenty of good vocals to go around (CONTINUOUS is the most dramatic anime vocal I've heard... ever...), and high-quality BGM (both fast and slow tracks are amazing), this soundtrack adds up to be a great purchase. Not only that, but the packaging is some magical eye-candy. I sampled all of my favorite tracks, I'm sure you'll enjoy them very much! Again, there are 5 remake tracks from the games to the anime, and they are REALLY nice.
