This is the strangest mix of music to be put in one compilation. Most of these tracks are Symphonic, as the name "Symphony" suggests. However, there's more than that. There is a rap song in here, and there's also ANOTHER version of everyone's favorite, "Fly Me to the Moon." The CD itself is worth purchasing for its symphonies alone, however. There are some songs on here that aren't from EVA specifically. The classical and baroque music comes in, and then there's the Canon in D MIXED with a rap song. However, to hear a live performance of your favorite EVA tracks played by a large symphony is a lot of fun. I think I should explain the "MC" tracks. The MC tracks are pretty much a waste of space on the CD if you don't know Japanese. I believe these are announcers speaking about the performance so far, what's coming up, etc. It's all in Japanese though. Too bad for us Americans.

There is a BONUS TRACK on the CD that is unlisted on the back cover, so I simply refer to it as the "Encore Performances." Why? Well, basically, the vocal performers come out and sing / say thank you for five minutes, then the symphony strikes up some classic EVA music, then there's some more "Hallelujah Chorus," then some more "thank you"s... The whole track is 11 minutes and it's really just there to fill up dead space.

If you want to purchase this CD, I again refer you to Anime Nation. They have a constant supply of EVA music in, and you could probably receive this CD within a month of ordering it from there. I purchased it: I felt my purchase was worthy, and now I declare that you may want to do the same. By all means, go ahead ;) Also, everyone who likes Handel, buy this! This is the best rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus I've ever heard! :)
