Acquire-A-Go-Go, Baby!
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Geneon has acquired the license to the Viewtiful Joe television series. Through the license, Geneon will control rights to merchandising, television, and home video releases in North America.
Gainax has announced that they will be releaing a FLCL music video DVD. The DVD, tentatively titled FLCL TEST-TYPE, will contain eight videos set to songs by The Pillows. The DVD is scheduled for a May 11 release in Japan, and will retail for 2,100 yen.
ADV announced its acquisition of Yugo the Negotiator at this week's Anime Overdose convention.
Through a recent press release, ArtsmagicDVD announced that it has acquired Salaryman Kintaro. The first volume is slated for a release in May 2005.
