Broadcast News to Online Manga
Kid's WB, that beloved home of all your favorite anime. Wait a minute, they just show that contagion known as Pokémon. Well due to poor ratings, they've made the decision to push up the clock on the anime series Card-Captor Sakura. It will air on the Kid's WB's new Saturday morning slot at 9:30 AM (9:30?!!!! You mean I have to get up before noon on Saturdays now?). The name will be shortened to Cardcaptors though, which is apparently more appealing to little kiddies, and the debut airing will be accompanied by a showing of Wild Cards, a fun 2 part OVA series. So starting June 17th, no more sleeping in!
Well, now we're over the bad news of having to get up at 9:30 AM!!! Escaflowne decided that it couldn't be upstaged by its new anime competition over at the Kid's WB, so what lovely stunt has Escaflowne pulled to shine brighter than Card Captor Sakura? They delayed the DVD of course. It's has been delayed from June 6th until October 3rd. At least Bandai isn't denying that it'll even be showing on Fox anymore. Even in a hacked 'n' slashed format, Escaflowne is pure bliss in a box.
Don't lose faith though, there's much more good news on the horizon. If you're interested in J. I'm getting that bizarro feeling of being controlled again though. I figure someone's hacked my brain and figured out how to feed me news directly, killing precious brain cells left and right in the process. I've narrowed my reverse brain pattern scan to a single possible suspect though, the ever elusive Moridin. I'd be upset about the loss of brain cells, but I figure I'd have found some other way to kill them off anyway, so thanks Mori, you newshound ^^
