Pirated Dog Lawsuits!

Viz has announced that they will be launching the theatrical debut of the Inu Yasha motion picture (Subtitled "Affections Touching Across Time"). The film will debut at this year's San Diego Comic Con, After its debut, Viz will show free screenings of the film in Baltimore, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Philadelphia, New York and Toronto. No specific dates for these airings have been announced.

Bandai has announced that they have served lawsuits to several retailers that dealt in bootleg merchandise at this year's Anime Expo. Manga House, ABCToy4Me/Animecircle, Anime Combo, Kawaii Anime, and House of Anime have all been served lawsuits, as Bandai urges fans to contact the company with reports of other distributors of unlicensed DVDs.
