Bandai Entertainment and Manga have announced that they will be working together on the upcoming American release of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Bandai will be in charge of the DVD authoring, marketing, and English adaptation of the film. Manga will handle the title's distribution in North America, as well as worldwide.

Bandai has also announced that Zentrix, Eat-Man, Haunted Junction, and Dark Soldier D have been discontinued. Gundam F91 will see a theatrical release at the end of May. .hack//Twilight will be released in a three-disc format.

Viz has announced that they will be releasing the first volumes of Bleach and Prince of Tennis this spring. Prince of Tennis will see release on April 6, while Bleach will be released on May 4. Viz has also announced that they will be releasing several manga titles in the second quarter of 2004. Saikano (also known as She, the Ultimate Weapon or Saishu Heiki Kanojo), Cheeky Angel, Imadoki, and Red River will all be released in June of 2004.

TOKYOPOP has announced that they will be releasing six more manga titles this summer. Abenobashi: Magical Shopping Arcade, Warriors of Tao, Tramps Like Us, Dream Saga, Et Cetera and Instant Teen: Just Add Nuts will all see release on August 10, 2004.

Media Blasters has announced that they have acquired the rights to Knight Hunters: Eternity, Saber Marionette R, Yakumo Tatsu. On the manga front, Media Blasters has announced that have acquired the rights to Skyscrapers of Oz.

Central Park Media has placed their 2004 catalog on their site, which lists several interesting tidbits. Armored Trooper VOTOMS will be returning in a series of boxed sets, with the first being the Uoodo City Collection. The series will be getting an English dub, and the first three episodes of the Uoodo Box will have director's commentary. Black Jack will be released in boxed set format when it finishes its five-volume run. Gall Force: New Era is set to be released this summer. Patlabor TV will finish its eleven-volume run this fall along with a boxed set of the final three volumes of the series. Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer will be re-released in the spring of 2004.

Central Park Media has also acquired the rights to Shootfighter Tekken. The series will be released in three volumes, all of which are planned to have a suggested retail price of $19.95 per volume. A boxed set will also be released with a suggested price of $49.95.
