Manga Sees Starz Onscreen Amidst TOKYOPOP's Manga Mania

Manga Entertainment has announced that they have entered into an agreement with Starz. According to the agreement, thirteen of Manga's films and series will be aired on Starz's Action Network. The films and shows that are scheduled to be shown are Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor 1, Patlabor 2, Blood: the Last Vampire, Perfect Blue, Street Fighter IIV, Fist of the North Star, Black Magic M-66, Macross II: Lovers Again, Macross Plus, New Dominion Tank Police, Shadow Skill, and X: the Motion Picture.

TOKYOPOP has announced that they will be releasing several manga titles in the next seven months. Saiyuki will see the earliest release, hitting stores on March 2, 2004. Doll will see a significantly later release on July 6, 2004. On July 13, four titles will hit retailers: Evil's Return, Passion Fruit, Culdcept, and Eternity. All six titles will carry a suggested retail price of $9.99US.
