Saikano Heading Stateside
Viz has announced that they have acquired the rights to She, the Ultimate Weapon (also known as Saikano). Viz plans to release all 13 episodes across 4 volumes in 2004, with the first volume debuting in April. The series, which began as a manga series that ran in Big Spirits Comics from 1999 to 2001, has sold over two million manga copies in Japan. The series has met continual praise as it made its transition to anime.
