ADV Films to Create Live Action Adaptation of Evangelion
On May 19, ADV Films president and CEO John Ledford announced that they have already begun developing a live-action movie based on the multi-milion Gainax franchise, Neon Genesis Evangelion. The joint project will be between ADV, Gainax, and Studio Weta Workshop, Ltd., famous for its visual effects work on The Lord of the Rings. At the moment, the film does not have much information regarding the story or actors, but ADV's aggressive timetable will likely end that problem soon enough, as more information is expected to come forth soon.
