Launch Issue of Shonen Jump Magazine...
Konami and Upper Deck agreed to produce a special-edition Yu-Gi-Oh! card that will be availible exclusively to the launch issue of Shonen Jump that will be sent out to early subscribers. The ultra-rare card will be legal to use in official Yu-Gi-Oh! game competitions. "The exclusive, collectible card will be produced using a special technology that gives it the desirability and status of the "ultra rare" cards prized by fans, collectors, and game players," said Mr. Rick Bauer, Vice President Sales and Marketing for Viz. Communications, publisher of U.S. SHONEN JUMP.
