Kikaider Coming to DVD
Bandai announced Monday their intentions to release Kikaider on DVD this summer. The thirteen episode anime is based on the live-action sentai (super hero) of the same name.
In fact, Kikaider comes from the creator of the much loved Kamen Rider (Masked Rider) and Power Rangers series.
In addition to this announcement, Bandai also unveiled it's newest project: Bandai StudioWorks, which will produce collectible figures based on classic Japanese anime and live-action series. Kikaider will be their first work, which should release sometime this spring.
Kikaider the animated series, on the other hand, will appear exclusively on DVD, with the first four episode volume releasing August 6th.
