Robotech Announced for GBA
TDK Mediactive, publishers of titles such as Shrek and Lady Sia, announced today their newest GameBoy Advance title. Robotech will be the first US published and developed game based on the now legendary anime series, since the ill-fated Robotech: Crystal Dreams never saw the light of day for the N64.
The game pits four selectable pilots to protect the earth from the impending Zentraedi forces: Rick Hunter, Roy Fokker, Maximillian Sterling, and Miryia. The side-scrolling 2D action, along with the two and four player competitive play, should appeal to die-hard shooter fans. Definitely a shooter in the classical vein.
