Yen Press and Orbit Merge

The Hachette Book Group announced that they will combine their Yen Press and Orbit divisions.The newly merged division will retain the Orbit imprint. Yen Press was Hachette's manga and Japanese novel division, while Orbit was originally Hachette's science-fiction and fantasy branch.
Under Hachette CEO and Chairman David Young, Tim Holman - who currently heads Orbit - will lead the new division as Vice-President and Publisher. The former Yen Press Publishing Director, Kurt Hassler, will remain in the new division under Holman. Hassler will assume the duties of the departing former Yen Press Publishing Director, Rich Johnson.
