428 Gets Animated

The animation studio P.A. Works (True Tears) announced that they will produce an anime adaptation of Sega and Chunsoft’s Nintendo Wii visual novel 428 ~Fuusa Sareta Shibuya de~.

The adaptation is slated to be directed by Masahiro Ando (Sword of the Stranger). Kinoko Nasu, the game's author,and Takashi Takeuchi, the game's character will also be involved in the adaptation.

A bonus anime scenario is being produced for the game by Type-Moon, as well.

428 is a present-day story centered on several characters, including a detective, a young man, a virus researcher, a freelance writer, and a cat mascot character. The cast is brought together by strange, world-changing events that occur in Tokyo's Shibuya district.
