Gonzo Under New Ownership

Gonzo Digimation Holdings has accepted investment firm Iwakaze Capital's take-over offer. Iwakaze acquired 1.9 billion yen in Gonzo Digimation stock last week and will purchase enough additional stock to gain a majority controlling interest. Gonzo Digimation's management staff are to be replaced on October 1st. GDH lost over $32 million during its most recent fiscal year.
At this point, it is unknown how this will affect the Gonzo anime studio - one of Gonzo Digimation Holdings' subsidiaries.
