New Initial D Animation in the Works

According to AnimeNation, a new Initial D OVA is in production. The series, titled Initial D Extra Stage 2: Tabidachi no Green, will star Mako and Sayuki, rather than franchise star Takumi Fujiwara.
The first volume of Initial D Extra Stage 2 will hit Japanese stores on December 5. The release will commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Initial D anime.
The Inital D anime is currently available in America courtesy of TOKYOPOP.
