Corrections: a Misspelling and a Reordering

In this article, the author "Masami Tsude" should read "Masami Tsuda." Also, our convention for author names is given name first, family name last (I know, we're so ...backward!) but we relapsed on "Ashita Morimi." Ashita is the family name.

At their panel at Anime Expo, TOKYOPOP announced that they acquired the rights to several new properties. The following titles will join TOKYOPOP's print lineup:

  • .hack//G.U. (novel), author unknown
  • Castle of Dreams, by Masami Tsude
  • Demon Sacred, by Natsumi Itsuki
  • Maid-sama! (Kaichou wa Maid-sama!), by Hiro Fujiwara
  • Momo Tama, by Nanae Chrono
  • Phantom Dream, by Natsuki Takaya
  • Tsubasa: Those With Wings, by Natsuki Takaya
  • NG Life, by Mizuho Kusanagi
  • Nitro+CHiRAL
  • Peacemaker Kurogane, by Nanae Chrono
  • This Ugly Yet Beautiful World, by Ashita Morimi
  • Togainu no Chi, by Tomoe Sato and Sugaro Chayamachi

When asked about the recent Kodansha announcement, TOKYOPOP representatives stated that TOKYOPOP-licensed Kodansha properties will not be affected by Kodansha's American efforts.

Peacemaker Kurogane is not the same title that ADV Manga currently releases. Rather, it is a sequel to the title.
