Rei's in Vinyl.. Again!
Diamond Distributors will be releasing an 18" vinyl Rei Ayanami figure. The 1/4 scale figure, developed by Kaiyodo, will be available in two different versions.
Rei will be available in her pilot suit (see left) or in her "injured" condition from her loss to the Angels early in the series. Neither figure features articulation and both will come in their original Japanese packaging. Rei will be seeing her release as of 7/30/01 at a retail price of $79.99.
Now if only they would listen to my pleas and make that Rei blow-up doll.. err.. I mean.. Rei plastic, air filled action figure. I guess these will have to do until then!
