Reports of our Death have been Greatly Exaggerated
Here at Anime Dream, we have a saying: it ain't over 'til one of us marries a supermodel. Or something along those lines. To be honest, I haven't written in so long that I forgot both our saying, and whether we have one!
Therefore, it is imperative that I clarify a few things. Anime Dream is not dead, nor is it ill. Instead of passing around bucket lists, we the staff have been working feverishly toward a new tomorrow -- where we spend most of our time writing about anime, instead of formatting pages by hand, and managing nearly-duplicate stylesheets, and pulling our hair out everytime we change page layouts, and....
In a few short weeks -- not to exceed one month from this date -- we are launching a new flavor of Anime Dream, and we hope you will be pleased with the results. With the launch, a solemn promise that we shall not reduce our output to current levels again, barring deaths in the family or discovery of a greater purpose in life. We're excited at the prospect of delivering content without the hassles that formerly plagued us.
In the meantime, we'll be migrating all of our static pages into our database, and developing a more modern layout for the enjoyment of all. All of our old pages can still be viewed while all this is going on, and our forum will remain up and running.
