Disney's Apples Seed Titania's Graph
Independent Film Channel announced that they will air Speed Grapher on their network. The first episode is scheduled to air on Friday, March 7 at 11:00PM EST.
Disney announced that they will cooperate with Japanese studios in the development of new animated programs for Japanese television. Currently, Disney is working with Madhouse on Stitch! and with Toei on Robodies. Stitch! is an animated title based on Disney's Lilo & Stitch franchise. Robodies, which was originally announced as a TV series, has been converted into a film that will air on the Japanese Disney Channel. Disney is also working independently on Fireball, a 3D computer-generated science-fiction comedy. Stitch! and Fireball have not received debut dates. Robodies is scheduled to premiere this summer.
AnimeNation reports that the Tokyo International Anime Fair will host an event for the public announcement of Appleseed Genesis. Romanov Higa will be directing the series. No futher details have been revealed.
Hiroaki Adachi of Wright Staff revealed that Yoshiki Tanaka's (Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Sohryuden, Heroic Legend of Arslan) Titania will receive an animated adaptation. No details on the title have been announced.
