Naruto's Hollywood Teacher Kiss Revealed!
The official Naruto homepage announced that a fifth Naruto film is in production. The film will be the second Naruto Shippuden movie, and will debut in theatres owned by Toho this summer.
Acclaimed director Mamoru Oshii recently accepted a position as a guest instructor at Tokyo Keizai University ("To-dai"). Oshii's position, which begins in April, will revolves around working with students in the Media Production Workshop of Todai's Department of Communication Studies. Oshii is renowned for his work on several live-action and animated features, including Ghost in the Shell, Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer, and Avalon.
An official website recently opened to announce an animated adaptation of Itazura na Kiss. Since the manga's debut in 1990, Itazura na Kiss has seen two live-action adaptations: A 1996 Japanese drama, and a 2005 Taiwanese drama. No details have been announced yet, except that the show is scheduled to premiere in April.
