Newtype USA Closes Shop

AnimeOnDVD reports that Newtype USA will be ceasing publication with its February issue. The magazine will be "retooled" into a new publication. The changes to the magazine have been attributed to licensing issues. Currently, no information on the new publication is available.

Newtype USA originally debuted in November 2002, and ran for a total of 65 issues.
