Kio's Seas Are Filled With Mad Sci-Fi Love!
Madhouse announced that they will develop an original science-fiction love story anime. The series, titled Kaiba, will be directed by Masaaki Yuasa. Yuasa is an acclaimed director, best known for his work on Mind Game and Kemonozume. Kaiba is scheduled to debut on Japanese telvision in April.
Seven Seas announced its acquisition of Inukami! by Mamizu Arisawa and Mari Matsuzawa, as well as Kuro Majo-san ga Touru!! (Here Comes The Black Witch!!). No release date has been announced for either title.
A recent interview between Publishers' Weekly and manga artist Kio Shimoku (creator of Genshiken) reveals that Del Rey holds the rights to Shimoku's Kujibiki Unbalance. Currently, no other details about the release are known.
